Sounds like a great app and I’ll probably buy it. Just a question: can the list of chords used in a particular file be output in lead sheet format (i.e. spaced out horizontally with barlines and beat markers)? If so, I won’t have to think twice about buying it! If not, could this feature be added in a future update? Thanks! J.

@MagnumXL4177 – No sir I am not. Apologies for that, alas my parents were not blessed with the ability to choose my gender, nor was I blessed with such bodily parts that come with said gender.

This app is great! It expands my creativity and I love that I can compose and have a record of the chords wherever and whenever the inspiration comes.

This app is just what I’ve been looking for. Not only is it useful in it’s intent, but it will also help improve my overall chord recognition and implementation in my music production. Simply put this is a great tool for those who know how and when to use it.

Wonderful tool. ProChords, might there be an update where we can manually enter a chord and search?
    Loving this!

Pro: this is brilliant. I am an emcee who started making beats. I do the standard sample chop/drum track bs, bcse I don’t read music or play keys. This app will now help me to compose REAL music! No more guessing horribly by ear!

    I’m sorry to disappoint you : (
But there are to many differences between a guitar and a piano to use the same engine and design. Otherwise I had already done it.

I would hope that it would just be an update for those like me who just bought this app.

the best thing about this is that you can leisurely fiddle with chords and then export to midi. this is good for bus rides airplanes or if you are too lazy to fire up the computer.

Can’t Wait – Looking forward to a Guitar version with fingering diagrams. If we could take ProChords piano and import the chords into Guitar with fret board fingering suggestions, that would change the world!!

    Its for Piano.
But if you know your guitar chords – you can use it for guitar as well : )

I’m working on a guitar version – but it is not out yet.
